exciting new adventures

This is a new week with new adventures!
FIRST: I now have a blog, that's kind of cool all by itself and brings on a whole list of curiosities with it like:  will anyone care? how will I use my blog page? who will find me? is it safe?  (The Genius say's yes) overall, in  the newness of it, I'm kind of excited with the possibilities.  I don't do well to keep in touch with people, that I should keep in touch with, so perhaps this will help a little.

SECOND: I've decided that I will begin to learn to run.  I love to ride my bike but have committed to participate in the Wasatch Back, also known at the RAGNAR, in June 2011.  Therefore, I need to learn to run.  It is my hope that the diversion will help me keep in shape, motivated, and keep me excited about my bicycle for the next season.  Yup, it is my quest to trim off another hour from this years LOTOJA time of 12:39.

THIRD:  The Genius and I are designing a web-page for "Country Gourmet" and we will be developing mixes to add to our line of products so we have more than just pancake mix and say more than "we have the best pancakes anywhere".  "People who don't really like pancakes, like our pancakes". which is not made up, these are actual quotes.  To make a long story short, we will see where this takes us.  We will let you know when the site is up and running and you can check it out too.

Isn't life exciting and full of possibilities!

  1. Congratulations on finishing LOTOJA!

  2. Blogs are a fun way to keep others up-to-date with what you're doing. John and I also want to go on an Alaskan Cruise....maybe we can all go together one of these days! ;o)

  3. This is really cool when you get your recipe site up let me know, we all know you are a great cook/ baker so I would love some of your recipes. For the biscuits I like them flaky not dry
